FIUTS is a Seattle-based nonprofit in international affairs that has supported intercultural exchange and student leadership in the Puget Sound region for more than 78 years. The organization traces its origins to 1948, when it was founded on the University of Washington campus. Its offerings include welcoming international students, facilitating short-term homestays, social and intercultural activities, leadership training, and education outreach to K-12 audiences. FIUTS serves colleges and universities across the Puget Sound region, engaging both international and American students and inviting visiting groups of emerging leaders from around the world. As a small nonprofit within the international affairs sector, it provides structured opportunities for cross-cultural experience, leadership development, and community connectivity. In June 2026, FIUTS announced the appointment of Alex Radi as its Executive Director.
