The Foundation for Tacoma Students is a small nonprofit organization based in Tacoma, Washington, established in 2010 as a 501(c)(3) entity. It staffs and supports the Graduate Tacoma community-wide movement, a collaborative effort designed to improve student outcomes from cradle to career. The initiative brings together hundreds of organizations and individuals to pursue a common goal: roughly seven in ten local youth would earn a degree, technical certificate, or secure a well-paying job within six years of high school graduation. 

Operating in the education sector, the foundation concentrates on aligning resources and coordinating supports to expand access to education and improve workforce readiness for students and families in the Tacoma area. Its primary audience includes students, educators, community partners, and other organizations seeking to advance postsecondary attainment and economic mobility, with the foundation serving as a convener and facilitator for collaboration. In December 2022, Graduate Tacoma announced Pierce County Pathways, a coordinated system of supports intended to enable success and economic mobility for all students.
