Foundation Health Partners is an independent health system based in Fairbanks, Alaska, comprising Fairbanks Memorial Hospital, Tanana Valley Clinic, and Denali Center. Since January 1, 2017, these facilities have been operated as a community-owned and -operated entity under The Greater Fairbanks Community Hospital Foundation, guided by a 15-member board. The arrangement consolidates governance and services across the three campuses serving interior Alaska. The network serves interior Alaska, a vast area of about 250,000 square miles, delivering care to residents across the life span at the three campuses. The formation arose from a shift away from prior ownership arrangements, with the three facilities brought together under this system in 2017. In January 2024, Foundation Health Partners announced a partnership with Seed Global Health to bolster family medicine in Malawi and Zambia, reflecting ongoing collaboration beyond Alaska.
