Bill and Jim Frakes were working as engineers in automotive plants in the 1970s when they saw the rise in technology of control and information systems. Having firsthand knowledge of the challenges in manufacturing, Bill and Jim founded Frakes Engineering in 1978. Frakes Engineering is now one of the oldest and most experienced control system engineering firms in the Midwest. Our company is headquartered out of Indianapolis, IN with thirty-five engineers performing work globally to a diverse range of clients.
