The Franklinton Arts District is a small nonprofit based in Columbus, Ohio, focused on expanding acceptance, appreciation, support, and impact of the arts and artists in the Franklinton neighborhood. It seeks to raise its visibility and credibility as a community resource and as a hub for artists and arts-related enterprises, and it advocates for galleries, exhibition spaces, public theater, and other venues for displaying and experiencing the arts in Franklinton. The organization aims to increase the ongoing positive impact of the arts and to broaden participation among children, adults, and families across the area. It also aims to attract private and public investment in FAD, the arts, artists, and arts-related enterprises, and it administers a range of programs and events, including Urban Scrawl, Art for Franklinton, Art Club, and Art on West Park, while taking part in community events like Franklinton National Night Out. The group manages the George Bellows Grant Program to support community-based artists and art projects. In September 2022, the district launched the Cbus ArtWalks app to expand access to Franklinton's art experiences.
