When we first opened our doors in Frederick, Maryland — over 15 years ago — it was our mission to provide quality dentistry for the young patient in a relaxed, child-friendly environment. Our pediatric dentists now serve the special dental needs of infants through young adults, and our orthodontist cares for children through adults. We remain proud of the fact that we take the time necessary to help guide your family through the dental experience in the most gentle, soothing, individualized manner possible. Parents are always invited to accompany their children during care. We provide additional value for our patients by having orthodontic and pediatric dentistry specialists within one office. While each patient has an individualized treatment plan, our specialists personally collaborate and provide efficiencies in the patient’s comprehensive dental care. The American Association of Orthodontists recommends that a child first visit an orthodontist for a consultation at age 7, and sometimes earlier. Our orthodontic specialty services include include traditional metal braces, clear braces, Invisalign Teen® and Invisalign® and more. We do not utilize restraints. We believe in and practice comprehensive dental care that focuses on the emotional, developmental and/or physical needs of our patients, including those with special needs. For children who may benefit from it, we offer various types of relaxation, including laughing gas, oral sedatives, and hospitalization at Frederick Memorial Hospital for those requiring general anesthesia. Our practice has been evaluated for and received a Class 1 anesthesia permit from the Maryland State Board of Dental Examiners. These options for anesthesia and sedation eliminate the need for restraint devices. Our families come to us from not only Frederick and Hagerstown, Maryland, but also Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia.
