Free Arts is a nonprofit organization based in Los Angeles, California, serving children aged 4 to 18 who have experienced abuse, neglect, poverty, or homelessness. The organization provides free art-based programs aimed at restoring hope, resiliency, and self-esteem. Core offerings include Free Arts Mentorship, a program delivering weekly 90-minute art-therapy sessions over eight to twelve weeks to foster self-esteem and healthy relationships. Free Arts for Families engages parents and children in eight to twelve weeks of family-centered projects designed to strengthen bonds and communication in a constructive setting. In courthouse settings, it provides weekday activities to ease anxiety for children and families awaiting testimony, and also runs Free Arts Day as a one-day workshop sponsored by partners for mentorship and community involvement.
