The French Cheese Board functioned as a marketing initiative financed by the French Dairy Board to raise awareness of French cheeses and butters in the United States. It organized influencer and media events to communicate messages about taste, conviviality, and accessibility. The effort included art and photography exhibitions, AR/VR displays, and a Metaverse expo to present dairy products in a modern, approachable light for a savvy consumer. A retail component comprised a demo kitchen and educational classes and tastings as part of the overall offering. It was the first flagship experiential marketing venue of its kind, evolving from a series of roadshows and pop-up stores on a national level. It operated across three Manhattan locations, with the last site in Nolita, and was based in New York within the public relations and communications services sector.
