The Fresno Metro Black Chamber of Commerce is a nonprofit organization based in Fresno, California, that supports the African-American business community in the greater Fresno area. It serves as an advocate and resource, aiming to create and grow Black-owned businesses and to advance their welfare. The group informs members about issues affecting local business, raises public awareness of Black purchasing power, and promotes Black-owned enterprises within both Black and broader communities through education and training initiatives. Founded around 2000 by Ken Blackwood and a founding board, it is a small- to mid-sized operation sustained by staff and volunteers. In recent years it has pursued partnerships to advance mobility and sustainability, including a collaboration with Transform Fresno to expand electric vehicles and bikes, and has been developing the Clean Share Mobility program since 2022 with multiple outreach hubs for rental mobility.
