FRINGE WORLD Festival is a major summer arts event in Perth, Western Australia, held annually for about 31 days in January and February. It ranks as the third-largest Fringe festival globally and serves as the largest annual platform for live performances in Western Australia. The program spans comedy, circus, theatre, dance, music, visual arts, cabaret and family-friendly offerings, featuring work from Western Australian artists alongside international performers, and it unfolds across venues across the Perth metropolitan area, with central hubs clustered in Northbridge and at the Perth Cultural Centre and The Pleasure Garden at Russell Square. The organization is based in Perth and coordinates a broad, citywide program of events across multiple venues. In 2019 the festival encompassed more than 670 events at 169 venues and drew over 400,000 ticketed attendees. In 2022 Fringe World launched a Delegate Program to showcase Perth and to foster international touring opportunities for Western Australian artists.
