Frugalpac is a British sustainable packaging company with a global mission to decarbonise the food and drinks industry. We create and supply recycled paper-based products with the lowest carbon footprint that can be recycled again. From our Ipswich innovation centre, we produce Frugal Bottles - the world's first commercially available paper bottle for wine, spirits and olive oils - and the assembly machines that make them ("FBAM-1").
Each FBAM-1 or Frugal Bottle Assembly Machine can produce 2.5m paper bottles a year and offers a great opportunity for contract fillers, packaging companies and innovative wineries to increase the value of their products and services.
The Frugal Bottle is made from 94% recycled paperboard, has a carbon footprint 84% lower than a glass bottle and contains an easily separable food grade pouch to hold the liquid. Find them on shelves around the world including Aldi UK, Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Morrisons, Whole Foods, Systembolaget, LCBO, Auchan, Carrefour and World Duty Free.
