FURAHA TRADING COMPANY imports high-quality tea and coffee from East Africa, sourcing from Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, and Malawi. It operates a fully integrated plant in Mombasa and processes large volumes, producing green, herbal, and black teas—including flavored varieties—and offering a range of packaging options for both retail and wholesale, as well as coffee products such as custom roasting and spray- or freeze-dried formats.

The company maintains production facilities in Tanzania and Malawi and holds certifications including HACCP, Fair Trade, Organic, BRC, and ISO. It works with hundreds of East African farmers, paying fair prices and providing community support, while owning thousands of acres of tea and coffee farms to help offset market fluctuations. It is based in San Jose, California, and recently opened a U.S. office to focus on North American customers.
