FURAHA TRADING COMPANY is an importer of high quality tea/coffee from KENYA,TANZANIA,UGANDA and MALAWI. We have been in business in Kenya for the last 10 years. We have a fully integrated tea/coffee plant based in Mombasa, Kenya and we handle roughly 160,000,000 pounds of tea and coffee annually. We manufacture green/herbal/flavored and black teas using tea from the above countries.We pack in round/square tea bags, individually wrapped foil tea bags and foil pouches/jars for loose tea. Our bulk teas are packed in Polypropylene bags with food grade foil on the inside. As for coffee we can custom roast and can also supply instant spray/freeze dried coffee. We can also supply green beans if required. Besides Kenya, we have factories in Tanzania and Malawi for both tea and coffee. Coffee can be packed in large polypropylene sacks or 30-50 KG pressure tested boxes. We do both ready to retail and wholesale packing. We offer a wide range of packing solutions for the ready to retail segment. Our company works with hundreds of farmers in East Africa, providing them a fair price for their products together with housing, education, clean drinking water etc just to name a few. Some of the farms which we work with, are in very unique regions creating some truly amazing and unique flavors. We are a HACCAP/FAIR TRADE/ORGANIC/BRC and ISO certified company. We also own thousands of acres of tea/coffee farms in these regions, to offset the price fluctuations of these commodities in the market. In turn, we provide you a much better price. We also pack for the likes of TESCO, ASDA in the U.K and our products are exported to over 15 countries. Our entire operations are based in East Africa and we have just recently opened up an office in the U.S to focus on the North American market.
