Fusion CI Studios specializes exclusively in cg fluid & dynamic fx for television, commercials and motion pictures. Typically, we work for other vfx studios, performing as their instant, experienced effects team, fitting easily into their pipelines. Our clients find this a unique and valuable working model since dynamic fx, particularly realistic fluids, are still very complex to do well & can therefore be unpredictable, expensive and time-consuming. And because of our experience and level of expertise, we've got a big core library that we can draw from so we usually have a pretty good head start on most effects our clients need. What sets us apart are the advanced proprietary tools & technologies we've developed that allow us to create high-end dynamic fx at a cost that's comparable to hiring an experienced freelancer. For example, one of our in-house tools, "smorganic" creates thin sheets of fluid with none of the characteristic ' webbing' or breakup typically found in cg fluids. So with "smorganic" the result is gorgeous, photo-real splashes are strong, art-directable and controllable. We’re using it in almost all our projects now with outstanding results!
