The Vision We will be the nation’s premier public school outreach program, modeling passion and integrity as an example to all. The Mission We impact, encourage, motivate, and inspire every young person we encounter in the junior and senior high public school setting to take hold of a clear vision and bright hope for their futures. History Future Now was founded in the spring of 2001 by Chris and Terri Musgrove. A vision was dropped into Chris's heart after doing an outreach program for local schools in his community in 1991. He was overwhelmed with the response of students and families who came out for a night event where 400 people responded to the altar invitation. After that night, Chris took hold of a vision that would come into existence in April of 2001. Chris and Terri have worked with young people for over 20 years and have seen how drugs, alcohol, and premarital sex have destroyed the hopes and dreams of young people. After pondering this vision for many years, Chris and Terri developed a program for public schools addressing issues such as; the importance of setting goals and making the right choices in life, as well as exposing the dangers of drugs, alcohol, and premarital sex. Future Now presents this message using a full-scale, state of the art stage production of live music, drama, and real life stories to captivate students. After each assembly, the students are invited to come out to a night event where the salvation message is presented through music, drama and real life stories. Future Now works closely with the local Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) chapters at each school as well as with other organizations established in helping teens.
