From its beginning in 1999, the GW Community School has embraced a unique mission. We have developed an educational program for high school students which magnifies the giftedness and intelligence of each student. This is accomplished through a technically advanced college preparatory program that emphasizes authentic learning. Students experience academic challenges and success; they also develop social awareness and a sense of responsibility in an atmosphere where all are treated with respect and kindness. The GW Community School recognizes the unique contribution of parents, students and community members striving for unity of purpose.
