GAMA Enerji laid the foundation of its investment journey in 1995 through its involvement in some of Türkiye’s first Build–Operate–Transfer (BOT) projects, including the Birecik Dam and Hydroelectric Power Plant, the Marmara Ereğlisi / Thrace Natural Gas Combined Cycle Power Plant, and the İzmit Yuvacık Dam and Urban & Industrial Water Treatment and Supply projects. Established in 2002, the Company has since evolved into a business development and investment company operating in the fields of energy and water infrastructure at both national and international levels. Through its subsidiaries and affiliates, GAMA Enerji manages a diversified portfolio in energy generation and water infrastructure, carrying out energy production activities through wind and run-of-river and dam-type hydroelectric power plants in Turkey, while conducting water supply operations under the DIWACO project in Jordan.
