GAMA Enerji laid the foundation for its investment journey in 1995 through its involvement in some of Turkey’s first Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) projects, including the Birecik Dam and Hydroelectric Power Plant, the Marmara Ereğlisi / Thrace Natural Gas Combined Cycle Power Plant, and the İzmit Yuvacık Dam and Water Treatment Plant. Established in 2002, the company has since evolved into a business development and investment firm active in the energy and water infrastructure sectors in both domestic and international markets. GAMA Enerji’s total installed capacity in Turkey, through its subsidiaries and affiliates, amounts to 1,117.4 MW, comprising natural gas combined cycle, wind, run-of-river, and dam-type hydroelectric power plants.
