Gamma Electronics Inc. is based in Pomona, in the greater Los Angeles area, and was founded in 2006. The company began with heat shrink products for aerospace and defense, earning approvals from major contractors including Boeing, Bell Helicopter, and Lockheed Martin. In 2015 it broadened its product line with silicone cold shrink tubing, which was certified to IP68 and deployed on AT&T's FirstNet towers. 

Since then, it has expanded into RF and tower weatherproofing, adding related products used in telecommunications and fixed wireless applications. The firm also offers cable assemblies designed to pair with its weatherproofing solutions, alongside a continued emphasis on heat shrink tubing and thermal transfer printers. In February 2023 Gamma Electronics announced the Plenum Cable as part of its Cable Assembly product line.
