Since its inception, Generation has developed, acquired, and operated over 11,000 beds with a value of £2bn. Through its involvement in creating five specialist student brands, the business has a deep understanding of the PBSA sector, developing operational management, marketing and ongoing asset management platforms.

Throughout its evolution, Generation has worked with private equity funds and institutional capital, including The Blackstone Group, The Carlyle Group, Ares Management, Hattington Capital, Crosstree, PGIM, and Goldman Sachs in the UK and Ireland, and created its own UK ten-year PBSA fund alongside Europa Capital.

Generation has recently launched its in-house operating platform, Now Student Living, which is currently being implemented across our UK student portfolio of over 10,000 beds. The creation of this fully integrated operational platform will maximise portfolio performance and create a strong brand identity for the portfolio.
