The Georgia Association of Manufacturers (GAM) is the only trade association in Georgia focused exclusively on manufacturers. Founded in 1900 by the industry for the industry, GAM serves as the state’s official representative, advocate, and voice for manufacturing. Based in Atlanta, the organization is a small to mid-sized entity that supports the statewide manufacturing community. Its activities include advocacy on behalf of Georgia manufacturers and programs aimed at strengthening the statewide manufacturing ecosystem. In 2025 GAM launched Manufacturing Georgia, a digital marketplace intended to address labor shortages and to improve the industry's public perception while building a stronger talent pipeline. The initiative follows partnerships with Unmudl and a collaboration with the SME Education Foundation to bring hands-on, industry-informed education to students at 12 Georgia high schools.
