Georgia Ophthalmologists offers a comprehensive list of visual health services including routine eye exams for all ages, diabetic exams and testing, diagnosis and treatment of retinal disorders, glaucoma diagnosis and care, glasses and contact lens prescriptions, and treatment of ocular emergencies. Our surgical services include cataract removal, YAG laser procedures, surgical correction of common eyelid disorders such as ptosis and ectroption, and pterygium removal. Dr. Bigles is a fellowship trained refractive surgeon offering the Blade-Free Lasik technique for vision correction. We are unique in that we perform our surgical procedures in our own in-house ambulatory surgical center (ASC) located in our Covington office, thereby eliminating the need for outside hospitals. Our ASC is the second free standing ASC in Georgia and has been in operation since 1988. Our state-of-the-art outpatient surgical facility is accredited by The Joint Commission (JCAH) and the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC).
