Located in beautiful downtown Macon, Georgia, our 43,000 square feet state-of-the-art museum is the largest state sports hall of fame in America, housing over 3,000 artifacts celebrating and memorializing the best of the best Georgia athletes, coaches, officials, and advocates of Georgia sports. From the old style ticket booths to the brick columns in the rotunda and a fantastic interactive area, the museum invites visitors to experience the history of sports in Georgia with exhibits honoring more than 400 inductees. 

Each February, eight individuals from the world of Georgia sports are inducted into the Museum with a weekend-long celebration that culminates with an exciting formal Induction ceremony at the Macon City Auditorium, attended by more than 700 guests each year. 

The Museum is also the ideal space for a celebration or gathering. We have individual meeting spaces, a 225 capacity theater, a full catering kitchen, and beautiful amenities; perfect for business meetings, training sessions, birthday parties, receptions, etc.
