GeorgiaCIO is a professional organization that serves chief information officers and equivalent senior technology leaders through the Inspire Leadership Network, a national affiliation of CIOs from various sectors including business, government, education, healthcare, and nonprofit institutions. The Atlanta-based chapter focuses on creating non-commercial, member-led programs and opportunities for technology leaders to engage in substantive, issues-based discussions, fostering networking and professional development among senior IT executives. Membership is limited to Georgia-based CIOs or equivalent leaders from organizations meeting revenue thresholds, with potential for additional memberships for larger organizations, reflecting a structure that emphasizes peer collaboration and executive leadership development. The organization positions itself within the professional associations space for technology leadership, and it also administers recognition through the ORBIE Awards, which honors excellence in technology leadership; this aligns with its aim to support CIOs in navigating today’s complex C-suite environment.
