GESS is an international not-for-profit school based in Singapore's Central Region, founded in 1971, offering two curricula: the English-speaking International Baccalaureate Programme and the German Curriculum. The school serves about 1,900 students from more than 70 nationalities, aged 2 to 18, and operates as a private school association led by an elected committee and school management. It features a modern campus designed with input from students and teachers, and it holds CPE registration S72SS0010G (2023–2029) to certify compliance. GESS offers extensive co-curricular options, including more than 150 activities, and a BeyondClassrooms Programme that provides real-world learning experiences. The school serves international families seeking both IB and German curricula, with a focus on developing confident, forward-looking students within a framework of respect, openness, and diversity. A recent development includes the May 2026 launch of a Certified Forest School Programme to integrate nature-based learning into its preschool curriculum.
