Girls Riders Organization (GRO) launched as a nonprofit in 2006 on a mission to inspire, educate and support girls through action sports. With tours, events and community based GRO Crews across the country bringing nonexclusive opportunities designed for females by females too more girls coast to coast to anyone. All girls, all ages and all skill levels are encouraged to participate. GRO strives to make skateboarding, BMX, snow sports and other activities more accessible through providing equipment, experienced instructors and a safe and positive environment. Then through our ongoing network of support, the membership based Local Gro Crews, GRO furthers community involvement and provide well-rounded opportunities all year long.

2011 marks the 6th year reaching out to female riders, action sports businesses and media, building support for current riders and bringing added opportunity for new ones. Since 2006 Girls Riders Organization has worked one on one with over 4,500 girls through GRO Workshops. Building that number even more this year, reaching more girls with action sports coast to coast than ever before. Remember, Change is inevitable. Growth is optional. GRO your world.
