Girl Scouts of Orange County is a nonprofit organization that provides programs for girls ages 5 to 17, helping them cultivate courage, confidence, and character while learning leadership skills. Based in Irvine, California, the council serves nearly 15,000 girls and about 10,000 volunteers and adult members across Orange County. Through its activities, the organization supports a broad range of community-service efforts, contributing more than 500,000 hours annually to issues such as poverty, homelessness, eldercare, and environmental and animal-welfare concerns. As part of the broader Girl Scouts movement with a history spanning more than a century, it emphasizes developing values and capabilities that enable girls to pursue their best lives.

In 2020, it launched Girl Scouts at Home to continue serving K-12 girls during the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, the council has pursued partnerships to broaden access to activities, including a collaboration with GrubHub for cookie deliveries at certain hours and a joint initiative with the LBPL Foundation to provide free Girl Scout activities.
