Global Health Corps is a New York-based nonprofit founded in 2009 to advance health equity through leadership. It prioritizes rising health leaders who have been historically underrepresented in decision-making and builds capabilities in areas like systems thinking, design thinking, empathy, humility, resilience, and adaptability, training more than 1,300 leaders to date. GHC operates U.S. and Africa Leadership Accelerators that provide coaching, mentorship, skill-building, and networks to support early- and mid-career public and global health professionals and improve retention and impact. Its alumni program helps graduates move into higher leadership roles across global and public health, and the organization has earned recognition from foundations such as the Skoll Foundation, Draper Richards Kaplan Foundation, Global Citizen, and Echoing Green. In March 2026, Global Health Corps appointed Adriana Lacerda to its board.
