Global Potential (GP) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in New York, NY, currently focused on work with Haiti. Founded in 2007, GP transforms youth from underserved communities through education, service learning and cultural exchange into globally competitive leaders of positive change in their lives and communities. Over the past decade, GP has brought life-changing leadership and service learning experiences to over 4,000 youth, of which more than 400 have traveled internationally, living in remote villages where they have built classrooms and community gardens, taught educational workshops, and mutually benefited from the exchange of cultural perspectives with their international youth peers.
