GlobalTexas is a small nonprofit based in Austin, Texas, that welcomes international visitors to the state. Founded more than 65 years ago, it began by supporting international students at the University of Texas. Today, most of its programs are developed in collaboration with the U.S. Department of State and the International Visitor Leadership Program. Each year more than 200 rising leaders from around the world participate and are connected with professional peers and citizen diplomats in Austin, Houston, and communities across central and southeast Texas.
