GLS Legal Services, LLC (“GLS”) is a full service law firm located in San Juan, Puerto Rico founded in 2008 by Genevieve López Stipes, Esq to provide legal services to one of the largest commercial banks in Puerto Rico. Since then, GLS has been increasing it’s clientele representing banks, lending institutions and mortgage servicers in Puerto Rico on matters related to their commercial, corporate and residential financing transactions. GLS is composed of an experienced team which includes full time employees, as well as sub-contracted professionals who aim to give the service required to meet each of our client’s needs at all times, with a practical and business oriented approach. 
Our firm works with all types of transactions that can be required by a financial institution. We prepare and execute the documentation required for the perfection of said transactions and provide the legal advice needed to determine the validity or risks involved for the financial institution regarding the constitution of collateral needed for the different credit facilities. When working with debt collection cases and their subsequent foreclosure procedures, our primary goal is to adhere to the time frames required by our clients and keep them continuously informed of the status of the cases in a timely manner, while offering the most efficient services. Our Firm has counseled financial institutions from the United States of America in the establishment of their business in Puerto Rico and after they are established continue to advise them in the implementation of policies and procedures required to comply with local law. 

GLS’s practice encompasses various areas of law which include Banking, Corporate Issues, Estate Law, Family Law, Bankruptcies, Civil and Commercial Litigation among others.

GLS is a member of the American Mortgage Diversity Council, Legal League 100, "Asociación de Notarios de Puerto Rico" and is affiliated to the Mortgage Bankers Association of Puerto Rico
