Golden West Humanitarian Foundation is a United States-based nonprofit focused on advancing humanitarian mine action through the development of innovative technologies, training, storage, and techniques. Its work sits within the defense and space manufacturing sector, but it emphasizes safety and risk reduction for communities affected by explosive remnants of war. Based in Los Angeles, California, the organization operates with a relatively small team dedicated to these objectives. Its primary beneficiaries are the humanitarian mine action community and the populations living in areas contaminated by explosive remnants of war, with the aim of improving field effectiveness and protecting lives and livelihoods. In March 2025, the foundation announced a partnership with Improvised Electronics LLC to create new 3D-printed explosive ordnance training tools (AOTM) that yield scale representations of ordnance for training purposes.
