Government Sourcing Solutions (GovSourcing) was founded over 15 years ago when Pennsylvania’s head of procurement saw an opportunity for states, counties, cities and universities to better leverage the competitively bid contracts he and his fellow NASPO members had been putting in place in their states though innovative strategic sourcing projects. Procurement teams at every level of government were being required to tackle increased challenges with shrinking staff and needed to leverage no-cost solutions like cooperative purchasing and insights from leaders around the country to deliver results. GSS is growing rapidly.
