Grace Farms Foundation is a nonprofit cultural and humanitarian center based in New Canaan, Connecticut. It sits on an 80-acre, publicly accessible landscape anchored by a SANAA-designed River building that hosts programs spanning nature, arts, justice, community, and faith. The organization brings together leaders from multiple sectors to explore these themes and advance collaborative initiatives that address humanitarian issues.
A core focus is addressing modern slavery, including leading the Design for Freedom movement to eliminate forced labor in building materials supply chains. Design for Freedom was launched in 2020 to address embedded forced and child labor and has since organized events and projects to advance human rights in the built environment. In 2025, Grace Farms participated in the Venice Architecture Exhibition and hosted its fourth Design for Freedom Summit, illustrating ongoing cross-sector engagement with international audiences.
