Graham County Land Company was formed in 1972 by Ted Jordan, a founding member of the company Phillips and Jordan, Inc., as a holding company for his family’s business interests outside of P&J.
Following the death of Ted Jordan in 1994, those business interests were consolidated and, in 1998 the company was reestablished as a Limited Liability Company. Graham County Land Company, LLC then continued as a family owned business with holdings in various commercial and residential real estate ventures.
In 2013, Randy Jordan formerly Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of Phillips and Jordan, Inc., left P&J and began rebranding Graham County Land Company, LLC as a small business entity focusing on general contracting, land clearing, earthmoving, erosion control, storm drainage, disaster response, and debris management services. Alot of Mr. Jordan’s key managers and team members joined him at GCL and since, have successfully completed over 150 projects located across 10 states.
Also, since GCL's rebranding, it now has two related active entities, National Civil, LLC and Western Materials, LLC. National Civil is a multi service and ROW maintenance contractor and Western Materials is an aggregate mining, production and sales company.
