The American Association of Blacks in Energy (AABE) is a national association of energy professionals dedicated to ensuring the input of Blacks and other minorities in the discussions of energy policy, committing resources to the professional development of its members, and recruitment of people of color into the energy sector. AABE has 40 local chapters across the country, where members can gather locally to carry out the objectives of AABE.  

We are pleased to announce the establishment of the Greater Boston Chapter-American of AABE. AABE Greater Boston Chapter is a non-profit organization to continue AABE’s mission in the Greater Boston Area.  In addition to being an excellent networking resource for students and professionals operating in the energy, environmental, and clean-tech space, GBC-AABE will be positioned to positively impact the pipeline of those wishing to enter the industry. 

Membership is open to all energy professionals and students in STEM education or trades who are considering a career in energy, regardless of race, as it shows as it shows support of AABE and our mission.
