Greater Good Studio works with changemakers who are building a more equitable society. These are most often leaders in nonprofit, philanthropy, or government. We support them in three ways:

1. We define programs and strategies.
GGS conducts deep, community-based research and engagement, then co-creates journey maps and strategic plans that respond to needs and assets. 

2. We design visual and digital tools.
GGS brainstorms ideas and creates prototypes, gathers feedback from end users, and refines pilot-ready brand guides, websites, and communications.

3. We teach human-centered design.
GGS delivers training programs, facilitates workshops, and coaches leaders on applying human-centered methods and mindsets to their most pressing challenges.

Greater Good Studio has led projects in aging, arts & culture, civic participation, community development, economic inclusion, education, health and youth development. We use qualitative research, rigorous synthesis, and creative concept development to support clients and communities in tackling issues of equity and access, creating strategies and solutions that challenge the status quo. 

GGS was started in 2011 after our co-founders saw the promise of human-centered design (HCD) go unfulfilled in the corporate world. We truly believe the design process is transformative and that by equipping clients and communities with HCD methods and mindsets, we can dismantle oppressive systems and build the world we want.
