Green Grid Inc. (GGI) has been providing technology-enabled services to the energy and utility industry for wildfire resilience and energy transition amid climate change and aging infrastructure for more than a decade. Realizing the growing threats of utility ignited wildfires, we pivoted our service business to product business in late 2023. We launched a patented artificial intelligence of things (AIoT)-powered platform, instant situational insights® for utilities (iSIU®) at GGI in 2024. This platform is pushing the boundaries for utilities, municipalities, agencies and property owners to detect reliability issues, hazards and prevent outages and wildfires proactively. This is achieved through seamless integration of advanced computer vision, a set of highly optimized inspection algorithms, ubiquitous connectivity, a user-friendly System-as-a-Service (SyaaS) dashboard, AI-powered decision making and human ingenuity. We secured multiple issued patents and many are in pending status covering the USA, Canada and Australia markets. One of our deployed sensors actually flagged a fire near LA early enough to mitigate damage in Sept '24 for one of our early adopting customers. Since then, we’ve been ramping up commercialization of this platform in amplified scale and speed.
