The company relies on its employees'​ collective 40+ years of industry experience to provide utilities and vendors with needed knowledge and technology solutions that will result in a truly unified and intelligent energy network. We are not consultants that push a business-specific agenda – we want utilities and technology providers to lean on us a lot or a little as needed – while we all work towards the goal of a more stable, cleaner and safer power grid. Grid Micro is ready to use technical knowledge and years of software and hardware rollout experience from both vendor and utility perspectives to solve energy automation problems. Grid Micro Corporation offers product management, energy solution architecture and IT security consulting, technical support and turn-key hosted Utility Automation systems to small to mid-size electric utilities and the vendors that serve those utilities. Additionally, Grid Micro owns and operates a dedicated private tier II data center facility in North Carolina, complete with an electric meter lab for research, development and support testing. Grid Micro is also proud to offer unique Energy Automation Incubation services designed specifically to assist those utilities that have little experience with the new technology and deployment scenarios that exist in a first-time utility automation pilot.
