Gubra is a biotech company built on three synergistic business units, Biotech, CRO Services, and Ventures, united by a commitment to scientific excellence, strong partnerships, and responsible impact. ESG principles are embedded in our business model, including Gubra Green, our subsidiary that allocates 10% of pre-tax profits to support a net-zero, nature-positive future. Founded in 2008, Gubra has grown from a metabolic research specialist into a diversified organization of more than 300 scientists and experts. Today, we advance proprietary therapeutic programs, deliver high-end preclinical research services to global partners, and create new drug discovery opportunities through agile venture structures. Our Biotech unit develops a growing pipeline of peptide-based therapeutics targeting metabolic diseases. Lead obesity programs include partnered assets ABBV-295 (a long-acting amylin analogue) and BI 3034701 (a triple agonist). Our internal lead candidate, GUB-UCN2, is a next-generation peptide for healthy weight loss now progressing in clinical development. Our specialized preclinical CRO provides world-class capabilities across in vivo pharmacology, ex vivo assays, peptide chemistry, molecular pharmacology, histology, stereology, AI-enhanced imaging, and bioinformatics. Gubra is recognized for deep expertise in metabolic diseases and for highly translatable preclinical models. Through Gubra Ventures, we develop high-potential science with clear translational hypotheses. Focusing on novel modalities in our core therapeutic areas, we target high-value disease segments where our peptide expertise creates competitive advantage. These focused, flexible structures enable promising programs to progress rapidly while staying closely connected to our scientific foundation. Guided by science, speed, and a commitment to doing business in the best way for people and the planet, we bring together biotech innovation, world-class research, and entrepreneurial venturing.
