Habitat for Humanity of York County (HFHYC) is a non-profit, Christian-based housing ministry.
We seek to eliminate substandard housing in York County. Further more, we strive to make decent housing a matter of conscience and action.
Habitat works to Lend a Hand-Up, Not a Hand-Out. Through partners, volunteers and the hard work of each home-owner, HFHYC has reached 50 families in York County since the affiliate's founding date in 1988. Through our new construction efforts and Neighborhood Revitalization Initiative, we hope to reach another 60 families within the next 3 years.
