Habitec is a full service, multi-disciplined architectural, planning and interior design firm founded in 1972, by principal Jim Starkovich, AIA, with then partners Mike O’Hearn and Ed Hardin. Over the decades, the firm has grown to boast expertise and project experience in all facets of commercial design.

Today, our office is tucked into the heart of downtown San Jose, in Silicon Valley. The firm’s diverse portfolio includes offices, retail and multi-use facilities, as well as educational, industrial, medical, hospitality and recreational space. Our professional staff has also designed numerous multifamily residential buildings and single-family homes.
