Hancock Shaker Village, based in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, is a small to mid-sized cultural institution dedicated to preserving and interpreting the Shaker heritage. The site features 20 historic buildings within a landscape of farm, field, meadow and woodland and houses a collection of about 22,200 objects, reflecting a long-standing commitment to archival care and interpretation. 

Visitors from around the world come to engage with its programs and learn about Shaker life. The Village holds accreditation from the American Association of Museums and has earned recognitions from Michelin, Yankee Magazine, AAA, and Rand McNally for its quality and interpretation. In 1968 it was designated a National Historic Landmark, and in 2025 it opened the season with the 23rd annual Baby Animals Festival.
