Harbor Pointe Credit Union was founded in 1933 as Duluth Teachers Credit Union to serve the financial needs of the educational community of Duluth. We have grown to serve over 9000 members in our community with our savings, checking, investment , mortgage and consumer loan products. Our membership is continually growing and we always welcome new members. We offer both personal and business financial products as well as a full service mortgage department.

Through the years many changes have taken place at Harbor Pointe Credit Union, including state of the art technology as well as a new community charter. A community charter allows anyone living in St. Louis, Carlton, Lake or East Itasca Counites in MN or Douglas County WI to be eligible for credit union membership.

In 2017 we changed our name to Harbor Pointe Credit Union. With the field of membership expansion into new counties the name change was necessary to continue membership growth with a name better fit for the regions we serve. We have three full service locations to serve you. All it takes is a $5 deposit into a savings account to become a member. Once a member you have access to all products the credit union offers, from free no minimum balance checking accounts to our a vast variety of consumer loan and mortgage products at very competitive rates. Our full service mortgage department can help you with your land, new construction or home loan needs.
