The Harman Eye Center was founded in 1988 with a focus on providing the highest quality eye care and superior service to our patients. We have since grown to include multiple locations and have established our own Harman Eye Surgery Center and dedicated LASIK center. Our success is attributed to our patient-focused, specialized care and our commitment to staying at the forefront of proven ophthalmic technology.

No question is too small - we always listen to our patients’ needs allowing for a seamless experience, whether it’s a regular eye exam or a surgical procedure. A number of eye surgeries and cosmetic procedures are offered to not only improve your vision but your overall quality of life.

Harman Eye Center offers an MD/OD practice model, which also incorporates our optical centers. We are the first and only regional ophthalmology practice to offer our patients this choice and convenience. We are the only practice in the region to use the VICTUS Femtosecond laser for cataract surgery and all Laser LASIK surgery. Our Surgery Center, with a patient satisfaction rate of 98%, offers patients lower costs, advanced technology and a convenient alternative to a traditional surgery setting.

David M. Harman M.D. leads our team of experienced eye care professionals. He has performed thousands of refractive surgeries since 1993 and LASIK surgeries since 1999. Dr. Harman performs cataract surgery, as well as laser surgery to treat conditions such as glaucoma, diabetes, and secondary cataracts. We currently have three ophthalmologists and six optometrists across our region and we are expanding to accommodate our growing patient base and to serve our patients better. We also have a dedicated and patient-focused staff that cares for our patients at all of our practices including the Surgery Center.
