The focus of my business is intercultural and multiethnic training seminars for health care, mental health professionals, educators and the public. Additionally, I offer individual or group consultation and seminars on multicultural relationship dynamics for professionals working in a multicultural environment and to individuals/families who want to better understand their own cultural dynamics. Philosophically I look at the dynamics of intercultural and multiethnic relationship from a socio-cultural perspective. The US population, which already has the most diverse population in the world,- and the world population- is in a state of never before seen numbers of international and multiethnic migration and intermarriage. I believe developing understanding and co-operation is most successful when people understand the structure of collective and individualistic cultures and the role of 'tribal' or ethnocentric orientation to the world. My consultation and training includes the complexities of not only cultural differences but also the role of socioeconomic status, gender issues and how to balance the issues differing cultural beliefs with practical answers that work in business and family relationships today.
