Hawk Design Inc. is a nationally recognized, full service planning and landscape architectural firm based in Boston, Massachusetts. Our design work focuses on all facets of the housing industry and reflects the broad diversity of the living environment that defines the essence of today’s home. Our successes have evolved into a full spectrum of the field, ranging from single family residences to large scale resort communities, from the reclamation of weary apartment communities to the creation of new upscale rental neighborhoods and from meeting the needs of the first time home owner to the creation of comfortable communities that address the concerns of our senior citizens. Design for the housing sector is not just a percentage of our workload; it is our primary design objective.

The key to good land planning can not be measured solely on quantity, but rather is based upon the creation of meaningful open spaces integrated with a site’s unique features. Add the desired density, prioritize the location of open space, and you have a winner.  Our planning expertise balances the client’s program with the natural environment in an effort to preserve the unique character of each property. Sensitive planning solutions can not only add perceived value, but enhances a sense of community and neighborhood. The more ‘challenging’ the site, the more unique the solution.
