Health Care Access serves as a welcoming health home in Douglas County, Kansas for persons with limited financial means. We create access to a continuum of community based services to promote health and well-being. Through an active collaborative spirit we advocate for healthy people and communities. More than 120 physicians and hundreds of additional volunteers provide supplemental services to this primary care clinic. Health Care Access strives to give the indigent a medical home. The clinic's services save unneeded trips to the hospital emergency room which drives up health care costs for all.
