Health Choice Arizona is a local health plan that serves Arizonans eligible for Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS) or KidsCare. KidsCare is for children 19 years old or younger who are uninsured and have income higher than the AHCCCS income limits. Health Choice Arizona holds two contracts with AHCCCS – Regional Behavioral Health Authority (RBHA) and AHCCCS Complete Care. Under these contracts, Health Choice Arizona is an option for those who live in Apache, Coconino, Gila, Maricopa, Mohave, Navajo, Pinal, and Yavapai counties.

Health Choice Arizona also contracts with Medicare to provide a Medicare Advantage plan for those individuals enrolled in Medicare and AHCCCS through our Health Choice Pathway Dual Special Needs Plan. This plan offers additional benefits not covered by Original Medicare and AHCCCS at no cost.
