WA Health consists of the Department of Health, five Health Service Providers and Health Support Services. The five Health Service Providers include: • North Metropolitan Health Service (NMHS) • South Metropolitan Health Service (SMHS) • East Metropolitan Health Service (EMHS) • Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS) • WA Country Health Service (WACHS). Across the six areas, we employ 50,000 staff and provide health services across the state of Western Australia to around 2.3 million people in metropolitan, rural and remote areas.
